Associates FAQ Section

Got questions? You're not alone. This section covers the most common (and yes, sometimes obvious) questions we get from new and returning associates. Check here before you call or text!

Getting Hired

How long does the hiring process take?

If you submit all required documents and respond promptly, you could be working within a few days. Delays happen when forms are incomplete or messages are ignored.

What kinds of jobs does Mesibriz offer?

We place associates in a variety of industries including:

  • Hotels & Resorts
  • Stadiums & Events
  • Restaurants & Catering
  • Golf Course Maintenance
  • Warehouse & Logistics
  • Healthcare Support
  • Office & Clerical Support
Do I have to pay to apply with Mesibriz?

Absolutely not. Applying, onboarding, and working with Mesibriz is completely free.

How do I know if I’ve been selected for a job?

We’ll text or call you if you’re matched for an assignment. Be sure your phone number is up to date and you respond quickly—otherwise, we may move on to the next associate.

Can I refer someone to work with Mesibriz?

Yes! Referrals are welcome. Make sure they apply and list your name—we love to see you bring great people to the team.

Immigration & Documentation

Can I work if I’m not a U.S. citizen?

Yes, as long as you're legally authorized to work in the U.S. (e.g., work permit, green card, EAD). We verify documentation during onboarding.

What documents do I need to bring to orientation?

You'll need documents that meet federal I-9 requirements:

  • 1 document from List A (e.g., U.S. Passport, EAD) OR
  • 1 from List B (e.g., State ID) and 1 from List C (e.g., Social Security Card)

Can I work while waiting for my work permit?

No. You must have approved and valid work authorization before we can place you on any job.

Will Mesibriz sponsor my immigration paperwork?

No. We do not provide sponsorship at this time.

Pay & Scheduling

When do I get paid?

Mesibriz pays bi-weekly via direct deposit or pay card. Make sure you track your hours and submit timesheets on time.

How do I update my banking or contact info?

Log into the Associate Portal (ADP) or speak to your coordinator. Keeping your info updated avoids paycheck delays or communication issues.

Can I choose my schedule?

We try to match shifts to your availability, but flexibility with nights, weekends, and holidays will help you get placed faster.

Can I work more than one job?

If you're doing well and have availability, yes—but you must follow through on every schedule you commit to. No double-booking or flaking.

Job Performance

Can I switch jobs every week?

No. We expect associates to commit to their assignments. Frequent job-hopping affects your eligibility for future placements.

What happens if I miss a shift?

Contact your coordinator as early as possible. No-call/no-shows are taken seriously and may result in being removed from the system.

What if I don’t like the job I’m placed in?

Complete your shift, then speak with your coordinator professionally. We’ll work to find a better fit, but consistency is important.

On the Job

What should I wear?

You’ll get instructions based on your assignment. General dress codes:

  • Hospitality: Black pants, plain shirt, non-slip shoes
  • Events: White shirt, black pants, clean shoes
  • Warehouse: Closed-toe shoes, appropriate gear
Can I use my phone during work?

Phones must be put away during your shift unless you’re on a break or in an emergency.

Can I bring a friend or family member to work with me?

No. Only approved and onboarded associates are allowed on-site. No exceptions.

Can I work tomorrow?

If you’re fully onboarded and a position is available, yes—but please wait to be contacted. Messaging repeatedly won’t speed things up.
